Random shutdown
« on: June 07, 2012, 09:29:10 AM »
Just installed PCLOS 2012, and once in awhile, it will shut down when doing a search on Google. It has happened 4 times so far this week. Specs are: MSI 760GM-P23 mobo, AMD FX  Octa core processor, 8 gig DDR3, Samsung 128 gig SSD, Seagate 500 gig HD, Nvidia 210, 1 gig video board. Have Win7, 64 bit, Mint 12, 64 bit, on the SSD, and PCLOS 2012 on the Seagate. Any suggestions?

It wouldn't hurt to check your hardware.  When I had a similar problem, it turned out that two fans needed replacing.
