chorme / chromium browsers release memory
« on: June 01, 2012, 09:40:22 AM »
Following on from my last post regarding sandboxing chrome / chromium ive found that If you start google-chrome with:

/opt/google/chrome/google-chrome --purge-memory-button --enable-seccomp-sandbox %U

Then, pressing 'SHIFT-ESC' will bring up a dialog window.

Pressing the 'Purge Memory' button will release memory on a sluggish PC. And of course will enable seccomp sandboxing. Try it to see if it helps.
