Yes, I have many stumbles while recording the story, and some of the little ones get left in.  I figure no one is going to notice, right?  I mean, who's going to read along and notice a thing like that?  Right?

Thank you for the kind words, ms_meme.-)

And I enjoyed it as well.  Even though I did stumble over the timeline a bit...  Very good characterizations and completely natural dialog.

Thanks, Chief.  You've probably known a few engineers in your time, too.  This probably won't help at all, but I visualized the story to be shaped like a torc.

Yeah, but engineers don't think that way...  We think, this causes that and then that causes the next thing...  We're pretty much strictly linear thinkers.

You mean the torc?  Yeah.  But then, I'm not an engineer.  Elgin is pretty linear, though.

I've finally finished the recording of Green Comet.  All 47 chapters, normalized and encoded in OGG, are available for download from the website.

http://greencomet.org/downloads  It's the one called "Green Comet - Reading."

Please download it and enjoy.  And if anyone is so inclined, sample it and make something interesting.

There is a 5th dimension, beyond that which is known to man.It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity, between science& superstition,& it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call PCLINUXOS!

I've enjoyed listening all the way to Chapter 11 so far. The complete audio-recording of the whole novel is one great treat. Thank you very much, arjaybe.

Since announcing the availability of the reading a few days ago, the response has been great.  The site has seen a good increase in traffic and in downloads of the book in all its formats.  Much of that has come from here.  Thank you all very much.
