That is the correct repository. However, mirrors synchronise at different frequencies according to how often their owners think they need to update them, so they are often out of step with each other. That is why you should only use one mirror at a time.
Providing you only have one mirror selected, Synaptic should show the version of laptop-mode-tools installed, and the current version in the repo. Almost certainly by now, that should be laptop-mode-tools-1.60-2pclos2012. The version that gave problems was laptop-mode-tools-1.60-1pclos2012.
I was asking which version the mirror you use was showing, because if it still had the old version that would explain why you still had the problem. If you look in Synaptic history you should be able to see which version you had installed. The key number is the digit before "pclos2012", which is the release or build number. If it was the old release, you should try the new. If it was the new, we will need to investigate further.
