3.- Error in my last update, copied from synaptic:
"W: Failed to fetch
http://distro.ibiblio.org/pclinuxos/pclinuxos/apt/pclinuxos/2010/RPMS.updates/x11-driver-input-wacom-0.14.0-1pclos2012.i586.rpm Could not connect to distro.ibiblio.org:80 (152.19.134.43). - connect (113 No route to host)"
3.1 Very often the browser shows this error:
"Server not found
Firefox can't find the server at
www.webpage.com.
Check the address for typing errors such as
ww.example.com instead of
www.example.com If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web."
Please note:
a.- When I was in the USA I had a wireless connection via a Netgear USB adapter, at that time internet worked fine, but I had little time to test and no RJ-45 LAN was available. I returned to my country since a week, I do not connect the Netgear wireless USB now that I use RJ45 LAN.
b.- I am a little confused because with Linux I have 3 boot options after I installed the kernel to detect more than 4GB of RAM:
Boot PCLinuxOS 2012
Boot PCLinuxOS 2012 (Safe mode)
Boot Microsoft Windows
Linux with kernel 2.6.38.8-pclos3.bfs
Linux with kernel 2.6.38.8-pclos3.pae.bfs
If I "Boot PCLinuxOS 2012" it do not work with the internet connection
If I "Linux with kernel 2.6.38.8-pclos3.pae.bfs" it randomly works with the internet connection
At boot it ask: 1 wireless, 2 default connection, I hit 2 or 1 same problem.
c.- If I check the SSD with the Intel SSD Tools via Windows 7, the SSD is 100% fine with 100% life.
Hope this information helps.
Thanks
