I have just finished a post about losing FM desktops. I went browsing and find a mention of KDE3 . KDE3.6 was the most fantatstic desktop. If I got all the KDE3.6 files off my  SUSE DVD would it be possible to install it to PClinuxOS or am I just looking for big trouble ?
What I actually need is the PCLINUXOS latest Kernel with all drivers workng with the KDE3.6 desktop.
Llewellyn Lee.

Just by the side is it possible to remove some items from the FM panel and put icons belonging to programs I want on the panel.

KDE 3 is dead. It was abandoned by KDE 3 years ago. It would not be compatible with the current pclos system and applications, so no, you can't install it.

As for your aside, yes, you can have the icons you want in the quick-launch area. Unlock widgets and drag and drop what you want.
