kde-2-2-2012 iso

So, the other day a friend wanted me to install PCLOS for him on an old laptop he had. I downloaded the iso from the main sight and burned it to cd. By all appearances, the download seemed to complete ok (I did not check the md5 nor file size). Boot failed, checked the md5 and it was bad... the noticed the file size was something like 247mb. I thought ok, must have been a bad download, so I tried again from the link at the kde main sight. Same result.

Finally ftp from pclinuxos.c3sl.ufpr.br and download was ok.

Just wanted to inform someone they may want to check that out and fix that link if its not already.

Hi zerocool just so we are on the same page - was it the following "main" download link you used? 



If it was, it points to the link below and when I began downloading it using Firefox  the size was given as 689.1MB - I then opened Filezilla to check and again it was listed as 689.1

If you used one of the mirrors further down the page post back and I'll happily check again.

Cant imagine what the problem could have been? Like I said, I tried it twice...
