Wireless auto-connect?

I recall that my PCLinuxOS laptop would use any [previously established or new open Wi-Fi signal.  Now, it doesn't do this.

For instance, I have things set up to use the office Wi-fi.  if I take the laptp home, I then have to hit the connect button to connect to my home WiFi signal and vice-versa. i thought this happened automatically?  it recall this happening this way, and now it doesn't.  Do I have an incorrect setting?

'Allow roaming' in the set up of the NIC in PCC?

Not sure as I do not need it ......

i think it doesnt not try to auto connect if you manually disconnect. Try to just power down your computer while you are still connected and it should try to auto connect on power up.

I've had a few problems with this too, installing and using wicd solved the the reconnection issues though.
