(SOLVED) Missing plugin in Firefox and Chromium (images)

Which plugin do I need in Firefox and Chromium in order to view a sequence of pictures in a web site?
This is the web site of a hotel in Rome Italy that I tried:

In the center of the web site in my PCLOS LXDE (2011-09 CD fully updated) I only see a blank space. Chromium informed a missing plugin. Firefox only showed the blank space.
In a Windows PC I saw that there is a sequence of pictures.
My Chromium version is: 16.0.912.63
My Firefox version is: 12.0
Please advice. Thank you.

that is flash, it is a swf file, update your system and install flash latest version

opera opens it without problems

nice expensive hotel with very nice rooms

It works here in Chromium - same version.

I don't recall installing anything special ....

It's my understanding that Google builds  it's "Pepper" flash into the API in Chromium therefore no flash plugins required

I did a reload and installed the updates, then I reinstalled flash-player-plugin, but no change in both: Firefox and Chromium. I can't see the sequence of pictures.
Update: Opera version 11.64, build 1403 neither.

what do you see on opera?  just empty space, a black square?

between installs did you keep the /home partition?

not sure if adobe flash setting could be a problem here

do you have problems opening other flash objects or videos?

In Opera I see a blank square.
I am not aware if between installs I kept the /home partition.
Now I realize that I have problems opening videos. I tried with youtube. Some videos worked well, but others not. There are some that I could see well several months before, but now I can't.

Latest flash and old(er) video cards/chips is a nono.
Older versions:
11.1.102.63 working well on my Nvidia 8400GS and ATI 9600 Pro
10.3.183.19 doing the trick on Nvidia Riva TNT2, ATI Radeon and Rage, obscure older low mem video configs.

I replaced
as root
the libflashplayer.so
from /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/
with the one from the archieved adobe .rpm files

With a Synaptic update with newer flash it will be overwritten,
so pinning of the last installed flash would protect your changes.

Be aware, using older versions could be a security risc.
Choose safe without watching flash, or watching flash with knowing you are in danger ;)
