I just ran it up in VBox and it works much the same as KDE, the partitions show on the left hand side of the file manager

Hi Guys

I know you answered my original question and got my dual boot menu working but I'm still interested in finding out why I can't mount the other partition in Thunar. If I run Thunar root in terminal this is the window I get the following screenshot and error messages in terminal as below:

[brianrh@localhost ~]$ su
Password:
[root@localhost brianrh]# thunar

/usr/share/themes/Phoenix 2011/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:62: Clearlooks configuration option "progressbarstyle" is not supported and will be ignored.

Does this suggest a particular problem with my setup or is Thunar not capable of doing this?

Thanks.

I get the same messages if I use thunar that way.

Start the PCLinuxOS Control Center (PCC)
Local Disks > Manage Disk Partitions Click Toggle to Expert Mode

Click on the Partition you want to mount
Click on Mount Point
Type in the mount Point e.g. /mnt/solusos
Click Mount
Click Done
Close the PCC

Your actions should be written back to the system and the Partitions will show on the left hand pane of thunar (you may need to reboot - sorry not at my machine)

Regards
