please don't post polls

about set up the wireless, the card should be working without your intervention so no driver required or already installed(if not connect the ethernet cable and search for sis163 in synaptic and add it to the install)

now, open pclinux control center/network & internet/setup a new network interface

there you follow the steps to add the wireless interface

after that from the detected networks you can choose and give the password to connect to your wireless network

near the clock on the taskbar there should be a icon to configure network adapters or search for networks, the previous steps i mentioned are sometimes more simple to follow and doesn't depend on the icon that could be removed from the taskbar

about the battery monitor, in the desktop just where you see the wallpaper right click/unlock widgets and then right click/add widget

a menu will offer you many objects, write battery in the small search window, onshe found drag/drop to desktop or to the taskbar near the clock, where you see it will be more useful to you

Sorry, i posted poll by mistake. I installed sis163 but when i go to set up the wireless with ndiswrapper and select sis163 or other drivers(tried them all) it says: No device aupporting the sis163u ndiswrapper driver is present!.Some compoments (windows driver) are required but aren't available for ndiswrapper hardware. The required files can also be installed from this URL: http://ndiswrapper.sourcefourge.net/mediawiki/index.php/List                         Help? :D

maybe the sis163u is for the usb version of the adaptr, the one i had

the other could be for a internal version

you can find those drivers in the sis page, the file probably is a zip file containing some dlls, inis and similar stuff, just what ndisswrapper needs
