Time to add another bit of info here.
I am now running PA v3 from the repo, with an updated paprefs, but unfortunately Veromix is now not working due, I believe to some update. I expect it will be fixed in due course.
Anyway to get to the point of this post ..... Santa being nice to me, presented me with a new Logitech H800 headset.
This headset has both wireless and BlueTooth connectivity.
My experience to date with BT has been minimal - using a BT earpiece & MIC for phone mostly.
I paired the new headset with the PC, and a new entry appeared in the PA Vol Control Configuration panel for it.
It provided two options from its drop-down ..... Telephony Duplex (HSP/HFP) {mono}, and also High Fidelity Playback (A2DP) {stereo}.
Yeah! High quality audio over BT without any messing at all!
It works beautifully.
The wireless part also works .... just plug in the transmitter as per usual and the options are there as for previous wireless headset.
So ..... nothing really to report except BT is working well through PA ...... of course the bluetooth module does need to be installed

I must admit to being rather impressed that it required nothing other than pairing the device to have it work properly!
Happy New Year to all!

This is a pic of what is connected today .....
1. HDMI sound from my video card
2. On board audio card
3. New headset BT with high quality audio out selected
4. Same headset using a wireless dongle which is similar to that used for the H760 headset
5. My older wireless headset
6. USB speakers
All devices are available simultaneously so different applications can output to different devices (except the new headset itself must be switched between BT & wireless of course).
Seems I like Logitech products
