running pclinux mini within windows

Hello, I know it's kind of backwards. I have the 2012 version of minime and am trying to get it to work, but upon boot options I cannot choose boot mode, and when it finally finishes booting it's either a blank screen or no icons and the start menu does not work. I have used vmware player, and virtualbox. Can anybody help me get this going, it works excellent booting from cd drive.

If anything the previous release 2010? worked, I could update from there if I can find a download of it, if anybody can help I would appreciate it.

What happens when you try to click on the Virtualbox window when booting, and then try to select another boot option with your keyboard?

After trying many times a few times it allowed me to choose boot options and I tried each one, same end result. But mostly no ability to choose boot options. Anyway if the computer matters it's an Emachines model# EL1331-05 the processor is AMD Athlon 2850e 64-bit processor but use win 7 pro 32 bit.

I also have trouble trying to test my remasters in VirtualBox, so you're not alone. However, I can usually get it to work by pressing an arrow key to stop the countdown and then going back to the top entry, pressing F3 and selecting "Safe Options".

However, that's in KDE. If the Windows desktop intercepts F3 you might need to find another way, or find a way to disable the interception.

Pclos hasn't built VirtualBox for a while now, so it's possible the video driver doesn't match the current version of VB.

On the other hand, I believe many packagers use it a lot, so there might be another reason altogether.
