Synaptic updates?
« on: April 21, 2012, 03:11:07 PM »
I noticed that the usual updates for items such as Flash, Firefox, Java, etc. have not been as timely as they were in past months.  I realize this takes a lot of work, but wonder if anyone knows if this situation will get better soon.  I'm a long-time PCLOS user and appreciate the work of all involved.  Thanks

Flash is up to date at the latest available release ...
Java, same a above ...
FF is at version 11.0, the latest release was skipped because was a minor bug fix release and it doesn't affect security.
...
Nvidia is up to date at the latest version ...
ATI/AMD fglrx is up to date to the latest version ...
....

So ? Do you want a kernel 4.0 ?  ;D

I thought Flash was up to 11.2 now...mine is 11.1.  You are right, FF is at 11.0 on my system.  I guess I was mostly concerned about Flash...

flash-11.2.202.228 is available in testing section ... but seems it is causing some color issue for some Nvidia users.  ;)
