Skype video window too small
« on: April 21, 2012, 08:10:48 AM »
Dear Group, when i use Skype to video call with a chum the video window occupies over half of the desktop monitor so i can see my chum clearly.  I installed Skype on my PCLinux PC and the video window is much smaller and i can find no way of increasing it's size.  Does some kind soul have any idea how to increase the size please?

Many thanks

I understood it was dependent on the camera in use .......  and the resolution of that camera to be more specific.

I have an older camera here which displays   320x240   and a newer one which displays 640x480

Are you referring to your own camera window being small ?

Both the window on my PC and my chums.  It works fine on my Windows box but thats no guarantee of course.  I'll see if i can borrow a newr webcam and see if it's better with that.

Works great but does not scale in full-screen mode due to known bug non-accelerated X11 problem.

Is this is what you are meeting?

I was not expecting that to be relevant ....  seems rather old .....
