Set up wifi - Edimax

I have an edimax BR626n router and have installed correctly but the wifi does not work - not showing up on my sons Win xp comp or my Blackberry can you help with this and also securing it once set up?

It can be a matter of configuration. Did you log in the router to check/configure that?
Also some (mine does) have a switch enabling you to switch on and of WiFi.

mary.ydm, keep in mind that this is a forum for PCLinuxOS.

If you are having a problem that is specific to PCLinuxOS, we can help.

So far, the only problems that you have described are with Windows and a Blackberry.

Are you having a problem that is specific to PCLinuxOS?
