Update - can't read bookmarks, menus - graphics?
« on: April 19, 2012, 06:08:55 PM »
Hi everyone,
sorry if this has been addressed here already. I tried searching but not really sure how to word it. I just updated the other night, and now when I have Firefox open and try to access my bookmark list the words don't completely show up; it tries to (they are there), but it's pixelated within the window. I can see the first few letters of some of them, and the last few of some others. It's some type of graphics issue I'm guessing. I wish I could explain it better, but I hope that's enough to at least get some suggestions.
Thanks

Would it be possible to take a screenshot and share that to us by uploading to an (free) image sharing / data service?

Trying to figure out how to do that. Having a hard time capturing it with the bookmark dropdown open.

What screen capture program are you using?

Does the distortion you describe also happen with flash video?

Okay, I think I've managed a screenshot. This is a embarrassing, but I've never posted an image here before, so I hope it works. This only happens on bookmarks, and right click drop down menus:

Have you tried running Firefox with all plugins disabled? Have you tried creating another user, then logging in as that user to see if the problem is repeated?

Hi,
thanks for the reply. I tried this and unfortunately it didn't take care of it. No distortion with flash video.
