When I go to PCC and click on Boot I can find a menu list the looks like the one I see when I start the computer.  on the right there are options to
Add
Modify
remove
arrow up   arrow down

If I move the option I want to make default to the top, will that work?

NO, you have to highlight the option and than click edit to set it as the default.

OK I hate to try things that I don't know if it will mess thing up.  But I decided to take a chance.  Here is what you have to do.  Go to PCC  highlight the one you want, click on "modifty"  the window that opens has a little box next to "default".  I put a check mark in the box.  Then "save".  Restarted the computer and that option becomes the one that in 10 seconds starts.
