Yes, as I said in my first post I'm running the mini KDE livecd. Whole purpose was to install it but when I chose Install from the boot menu it didn't finish the install. After I tried to reboot it after install it just went to black screen. Will try again later today.
Managed to get it installed and mouse now works as it should.
