(RESOLVED)deadbeef not saving playlist on close
« on: April 07, 2012, 06:59:36 PM »
after the latest deadbeef update from 0.5.1 to 0.5.2 deadbeef doesn't save the list of songs i had opened from prevous session

if i save the playlist to a file the app doesn't remember the playlist the next time i open deadbeef

i already deleted the deadbeef config folder but it didn't helped, it remains the same

hej-hej!

i think that when i pressed the close button is mentioned with the part that says "waiting for alsa thread to finish"

the part where it says loading default playlist, well, i can't find any option to select a default playlist or created one

can't see why it forgets the equalizer i selected

could this be the error?

loading plugin /home/j/.local/lib/deadbeef/ddb_gui_GTK2.so
dlopen error: /home/j/.local/lib/deadbeef/ddb_gui_GTK2.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
trying /home/j/.local/lib/deadbeef/ddb_gui_GTK2.fallback.so...

then it is not finding or that library is not working well, maybe a broken package?

the same error output,

Code: [Select]
loading plugin /home/daniel/.local/lib/deadbeef/ddb_gui_GTK2.so
dlopen error: /home/daniel/.local/lib/deadbeef/ddb_gui_GTK2.so: Kann die Shared-Object-Datei nicht öffnen: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden

but i can store.

Try to store an playlist, and post output

just did that but the konsole didn't mnentioned the save playlist

the file was created

one weird thng is that when i called again deadbeef from konsole it remembered the previous unsaved playlist

i just verified the button i use to call deadbeef, this is the command it is running

deadbeef file.file

shouldn't it be just deadbeef?

just edted the button, yes, it opens normally, remember equalizer and list of songs, also the position of the playlist

why that update edited the button?

apparently it's the deadbeef.desktop file that has the error...

it should say exec=deadbeef and not deadbeef file.file
