LXDE 2012.01 hangs on reboot - Intel D525

I purchased (2) SuperMicro 5015A-EHF-D525
The motherboard in them is the X7SPE-HF-D525
(Intel D525 Atom....)

Downloaded and installed PCLinuxOS - LXDE 2012-01

Installed great!
So I thought... 

But neither of them will reboot
I can watch the rebooting process.. then it hangs on the final line

I have to physically press the reset button on the computer.
Interestingly enough, If I chose to ShutDown the computer, it does it without issue

It's just the Reboot command that is the issue
Just hangs

Updated to the latest Firmware... no change
I installed WinXP Pro.. and no issues with reboot
I installed Lubuntu v11-10... and no issues with reboot
I installed CentOS... and no issues with reboot

Seems to be an issue with PCLinuxOS


I'm not a fan of the Lubunto.. and am looking for a lightweight Linux OS
Would like to stay with PCLinuxOS... but can't if the computer wont reboot... as it's going to be installed 12hours away in a remote site.
Then it's of no use to me.
(once it's off... it's off till someone goes out there)

Does anyknow know why this is happening?
And how to fix?

Hi,

click on ESC tab by booting, and post where it hangs. Maybe we find a solution...

Are you fully updated via Synaptic?

It's just the Reboot command that is the issue

Is that using the command line?

The way I am telling it to reboot is from the GUI
Not that it matters, issuing the reboot from the CLI still stops it at the same place


I'v also now tried
Mint 12 LXDE.... it hangs on reboot
Fedora 16 - LXDE Spin... it hangs on reboot

I haven't checked to see what the kernel differences are between all of them....
But I find it odd that besides Windows, Lubuntu, and CentOS, everything else hangs at reboot

What are they doing differently that the rest are not

I know that with the Intel D525MW, we had hanging issues as well
But there was a BIOS fix for that, and since then no issues with Linux
(never a problem prior to the BIOS update, when isusing Windows)

I've got the newest BIOS from SuperMicro... but they only suggest to use Windows and are leaving me on my own
So no help from them.
