What version of PCLinuxOS (version + desktop environment: e.g. PCLinuxOS 2012.02 KDE) do you use? Are you fully up-to-date?

I am fully up to date.  something happen in my gmail on linux. can't figure it out. it is not password.  can connect on other device so i don't think it is a gmail problem.  for some reason there seems to be no connection.  the bar that goes across as you connect doesn't seem to work. the html no problem

firefox got broken somehow. went into home folder and deleted .mozzila.  restarted firefox and it all works now. remember before you do this to save bookmarks or be synchronize. to find .mozzilla you have to show the hidden files in the home folder. it is in "view"  hope this helps people if firefox broken.

In the first instance it can sometimes be wise to rename and/or move the folder instead of deleting it altogether.

yep did that first so that I don't lose everything if it didn't work. delete it after everything work. sync in firefox put everything back.  had to put in my addons. thats it.
