Not sure, at this point...can you review the network settings (ESSID, encryption type (WEP/WPA/WPA2/etc.), password/passphrase, etc.) on you're working computer, and make sure that is what you're trying to use on this PC?

Sorry I don't have another suggestion, at the moment...
