Kworld UB499-2T

KWorld Dual DVB-T HD USB Stick (UB499-2T) based on Afatech AF9135

It mentions IT9135-10.12.30.1_i686 in both articles.

This looks like valuable info but it does not mentions newer kernels. A friend of mine and a forum member rafih needs this for his DVB device and we were trying to get it going on IRC for quite sometime now...

Thanks for reply as.

Accordingly to this page, support is already included in kernel 3.2  ::)

Forgot to add:

probably you need to manually get the related firmware, because the kernel-firmware package is currently "work in progress"  ;)

As - I will make rafih to come over here and post replies to Your question - he is shy but I am positive I will get him to pop in here... even if by force...

He is at work now and I will be chatting with him tonight and I will make sure You get the answers and his participation.

As we have decided it was best to move this to testing mailing list.

http://groups.google.com/group/pclinuxos-testers/browse_thread/thread/8ab9182df4863665?hl=en#

Tell him what info do You need and he will provide it. Can You try helping him out in getting the device to work?

Locking this thread.

Thanks.
