Is there any problem getting srpms from MIB ?
« on: March 30, 2012, 11:19:31 AM »
Gentlemen,

I'm asking this question because Mr. Reynolds didn't mention MIB (Mandriva International Backports) in his suggested places to get srpms.
I stumbled upon it, and found it very interesting.
So, that's the question: Can I get srpms from it ? Or it is forbidden ?

Awaiting for your response,

I send my best regards,

if there is no PCLinuxOS srpm available you can start with whatever other srpm you want but you still have to change the spec-file, the sources and patches of that one to be PCLinuxOS compliant.

Sure, sure, I did this already(adapt srpms from other distros), I just asked because there was no mention of MIB.
So I thought it was forbidden...  ;)

Ok, thanks a lot
