Resurrectiing dual boot PCL and windows
« on: March 27, 2012, 12:46:15 PM »
Hello,

I am running PCLOS just fine, but when I originally installed it on windows system I thought it was going to be dual boot. If I look using disk manager I see windows partition and would like to be back in dual boot mode. Is there any utility that will solve this issue? It has been over a year since I have used this disk so I don't think PCL is current or windows either.

Thanks

This is what I would suggest:
Download and burn to CD the latest PCLinux ISO
then I would run the newly created live cd and use the redo mbr application and see if windows is still there.

Sense it has been a year or more then you will need to reinstall PCLinux - because the updates will more
than likely break the operating system, causing you to have to reinstall anyway.

PCLinux needs to be updated at least once a month even better once a week.

Hope this helps
