Ok guys,
The PCLinuxOS Magazine is
your community magazine. It's produced by volunteers from this community. However, lately 90% of the work on the magazine has come down to 4 individuals. And only 3 of us write articles. And, we're running out of ideas and steam.
So ... we need your input. Our magazine won't be much of a magazine without articles to fill its pages. We need members of this community to submit articles. You don't have to be "a writer." That's something me and Meemaw and Darrel can take care of. Just so long as we can figure out what you're trying to say, we can put on a coat or two of polish and make you sound like a writer.
The preferred article submission vehicle is Google Docs. With that being said, I'll take articles written on toilet paper and illustrated with stick figures. The magazine just needs content. Submit your articles written in AbiWord, LibreOffice, Kate, Kwrite, Mousepad, Leafpad or any other format that displays text.
What kind of content? Articles need to be of interest to Linux users, and preferably specific to PCLinuxOS. Articles have to be in good taste and be fitting of appearing in a "family oriented" magazine.
I know there are quite a few "new users" here, so here's your chance to contribute.
HERE is a link to
The PCLinuxOS Magazine Submission Guide & Style Manual. If you want to submit an article, send me or Meemaw a PM here on the forum, and we'll give you our email address in private.
Guys ... we really need your assistance. I'm also posting this in the Sandbox, since it will probably get noticed more (I know there are those of you who ONLY read the Sandbox).
HELP!
