Just did a MiniMe update then tried Browse and configure hardware, Network Center and Manage system services in PCC. No errors to report.
[EDIT2] here is what i get in konsole
File "/usr/share/apps/systemsettingsPCLinuxOS/kcm_pclos_hardware_video.py", line 31, in <module>
from PyKDE4.kdeui import *
RuntimeError: the PyQt4.QtCore module is version 1 but the PyKDE4.kdeui module requires version -1
systemsettings(4231)/python (plugin): Failed to import module
systemsettings(4231)/kcontrol KCModuleLoader::loadModule: This module has no valid entry symbol at all. The reason could be that it's still using K_EXPORT_COMPONENT_FACTORY with a custom X-KDE-FactoryName which is not supported anymore
That file,
"/usr/share/apps/systemsettingsPCLinuxOS/kcm_pclos_hardware_video.py", doesn't exist on my installation. In fact, the directory doesn't exist. Here's what I get:
[root@localhost ~]# ls -l /usr/share/apps/systemsettings
total 12
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Sep 23 12:45 classic/
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 675 Feb 25 2011 systemsettings.kcfg
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 829 Feb 25 2011 systemsettingsui.rc
[root@localhost ~]#
The PyKDE4 files are in the /usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/PyKDE4/ directory. Dunno.
yodelu, what iso did you install from?
