I can not visit this site directly,so what I will do?

===Part I=====================================

I am a newbie of pclinuxos,I have an odd problem of visting pclinuxos.com.I am for China,when I visit pclinuxos.com,What the page show is "Apache 2 Test Page ...",I have saved screen picture like this

http://postimage.org/image/lrxlxn4hr/

I do not know how to solve this problem,so I had sent an email to Texstar,and got a replay like this "Your isp is not connecting you to pclinuxos.com. It is routing your request somewehere else.",but Texstar do not teach me how to solve this problem.I think this is someting as DNS hijacking,so I directly visit pclinuxos.com with its IP address 199.231.58.82(I got this IP address from ip-adress.com),but nothing different!So is there anybody know how to tackle this issue?

Now I use a free online web proxy to visit this forum,but free proxy is inconvenient,unstable and not always working.So I am eager to get help from you!

Another question about bash shell:
when you invoke a program in bash shell,this program is linked to this shell.when you shut this cmd window,that program will close either.For example,
1)run konsole
2)you type in konsole : $ konqueror&
3)you shut then konsole window, the konqueror will quit either
So is there any method to invoke a program in shell independently,and the program is not linked with the shell?

Any help is appreciated!

===Part II===========================================

To make whole thing more clearly,I had done a summary in #125 ,
which is in page 9 , the link is  http://www.pclinuxos.com/forum/index.php/topic,103356.120.html

==Part III=================================================
The conclusion is at #158 (last page)

I think you have to tell us whether you have somehow obtained a PCLINUX install disk, and are actually using the program, or are you trying to get the
install software.
If you already have the software installed, can you reach any of the repositories that appear in Synaptic?  If you can, then you can update your installation
from there, and have the latest version.  Note that there are several repositories in the Far East--two in Japan.  Also one in Romania, which used to be
friendly with China, I believe, and probably still is.
Can you use Torrent from the web proxy? The PCLOS site promises Torrent sites coming soon.  When they come, then even if the download gets interrupted, it can
be picked up again where it left off.
If all else fails, are you allowed to receive a disk with the software in the mail?  If so, I believe that one of us (me, for instance) will send you a copy.

Thank you for your reply^-^.Maybe My English is poor so I do not express my meaning accuratly.I have downloaded pclinuxos from a FTP website, and I can update my system corretly with Synaptic
and I can install softwares nomally. So My trouble is not I can not get pclinuxos install disk,what annoyed me is I can not reach pclinuxos.com this website directly.Everytime I want to visit pclinuxos.com or pclinuxos.com/forum,the page content shows this is a "Apache HTTP Sever Test Page powered by Centos",so I can not visit our lovely forum.
(could you see the screen picture I have posted? http://postimage.org/image/lrxlxn4hr/).
I think this is an odd problem,thank you again for your heartness!

I understood what you meant.  I take it that you have tried several times.  According to the notice you saw

Quote
The fact that you are seeing this page indicates that the website you just visited is either experiencing problems or is undergoing routine maintenance.

Since you can visit the site using a proxy, it does seem that your direct approach is being diverted.  In that case, the only solution (probably) is to use a proxy.

Perhaps someone better informed than I am can comment on the service provided by opendns.com or something similar (if that would help).

I shall pass this way but once;
any good therefore that I can do,
or any kindness that I can show
let me not defer nor neglect it,
for I shall not pass this way again.

Try this command instead: $ konqueror --profile filemanagement&

Good luck!  ;D ;D

That is a bad news.I think if my direct approach is being diverted,What my browser's URL address should show is a new URL,but it is still pclinuxos.com! like this:

It is not a "stupid" question it is a valid one. What I did was to see how konqueror is initiated by the menu and tried it myself and in "MY" case it worked.

I "unlocked widgets/ right clicked on the menu/ selected "edit applications"/ navigated to the application that I wanted to see (in this case 'konqueror') and looked at the "Command:" that was being used. I then pasted the command into a konsole.

It worked for me. I could be wrong about this but I suspect that if you use this method, it will work for you too.

Again I say to you my new friend,, good luck and don't give up.  ;D ;D

If I am wrong, someone else will be along to help and then we both will learn something.  ;)

EDIT: I just noticed that you have to "exit" konsole. If you just "close" the window, it does not work.

To exit the konsole properly,, type: $ exit

Don't just click on the "x". Maybe that will be of some help.  ???

The "great firewall of China" blocks access to the forum sometimes, I think. I do not know why. We are not political.

I do not think so,As you said,this website is just a technology oriented forum.And if the firewall blocks
this forum,the page will show "the responsibility of the sever is too long..." or somethig similar like
this

By the way,thank you for your reply!
