Hi all,

Well done Dude!

For all those who would need a vouch for Cyrylas - Michal is a good friend of mine. He helped me in many problems while I was compiling stuff. He helped me troubleshoot some issues... He even fixed two problems for Texstar himself a while back. Cannot remember what it was but I think one of them was the Exile music player. He is moderator of pclinuxos.org.pl forum and he is a professional webmaster (php, css, html, mysql, the whole lots) and a programmer with a very analytic brain and lot of skills... Heck... This guy has KDE4 compiled on his 2009 installation way before PCLinuxOS even had a first test KDE4 runs...

I have been testing his Smplayer 0.7.0-1 package for a 2 weeks or so now on 3 of my machines with different specs - it's top notch. Please test it yourselves and i am sure that You will be pleased with quality of Michal's work.

I am sure Cyrylas will be a perfect "addition" to our packagers team.

Regards.

Andy

I'll be happy to test, but can I first clarify - is this different to the repo 0.7.0-1 version? (on 64bit test4)

PCLinuxOS 32bit KDE 4.10.4; kernel-3.4.11-pclos1.bfs & 64bit 3.4.38bfs; NVidia GeForce 8400GS 1GB 310.19 driver

Oh gotcha Leiche. I did not understood Your question.

From what I understand You have packaged smplayer and sent it to the dropbox right? Well it never reached repository and since neither I or Cyrylas don't have access to dropbox we had no knowledge of it. Chillax. It's not like Michal is trying to take over your place :D :D :D. We just didn't knew about / saw Your package. Maybe if You got Twitter account like some other devs we could see what are You working on (just kidding I hate twitter ;)).

Edit: Awww nuts... Leiche You have packaged 64 bit version? That explains it fully... I have no 64 bit machine and don't use 64 bit repo... :(

Regards.

I think Cyrylas made a 32 bit package... Leiche made 64 bit package... I might be confused... Wouldn't be the first time! :P

I'm currently running my own src rpm built 0.7.1.

Creating patches to set specific cpu opt flags is somewhat complicated.

Is there a way to change the qmake and or cmake cpu opt flags on the command line without changing any of the default opts that may occur? The question is not only for smplayer but for qmake and cmake in general.
