JRex bought an "Epson WorkForce 545" wireless printer for her Mac and configured it to connect to our wireless router and as expected, she could use it with no problems encountered.
I rarely have a need to print anything but, out of curiosity I when into "
Configure Your Computer / Hardware / Set up the printer(s)" and there it sat, waiting for me to right click it and mark it as "Default".
I could print to it right out of the box running KDE4 (fully updated) as well as two LXDE boxes (fully updated) and had to do nothing but mark it as the default printer.
