Using a Data-Only Sim in HP Probook 6545B
« on: February 26, 2012, 09:09:36 AM »
To use a SIM in my HP ProBook 6545b laptop, what software would be best, and can any other users tell me of their experiences (good or bad) using a SIM for broadband access, and which provider they use/prefer.

well, this depends on the country you are and the area of the city you are

sometimes all you get is 2G or slower connections(alot less than 0.5 mbps)

ideally get a 3G coverage to get 2 mbps should be good

4G on some countries is a dream(4 mbps minimum) and in others is a lie, especially with some companies under certain frequencies

i find better on some circumstances to get wifi and forget gsm networks altogether but this is not always a option
