Trurn numlock off at boot SOLVED.

I have searched the forum without success, altho this must have come up a zillion times. Using KDE.  I also went to PCC>System Services, and unchecked numlock at boot.
I'm pretty sure I did this once, on another computer, but I can't seen to find out how to do it now.  (To clarify:  What I want is the arrow keys, not the numbers; I have numbers
across the top of my keyboard.) All help gratefully appreciated.  --doug

More Applications --> Configure your desktop --> Input devices -->  Keyboard

On the very first tab you can choose whether NumLock is "on" or "off" on KDE startup...
