Get rid of the Chrome Browser as it has many ways to defeat your choices and keep your search and other histories!
If you do not delete your history from Google before mar 1st then it will be there forever regardless if you change your mind later on!
Use Firefox and make sure and change your search engine from Google to something else like duck duck go which I think is the best alternative.
It keeps virtually no personal history of you!!
And use its SSL function
https://duckduckgo.com/
You can add it to Firefox through the addons list

I am trying to Remove and Stop all Web History in Google.
I have gone through the steps of Removing, but when it all resumes it seems things have only Paused but not stopped.

I have logged out and in and tried it several times.  Any suggestions on how to Stop it?

March 1......Time is of the essence.  ;D

Thank you all for the suggestions etc.  I think I have done it right as I always follow and do what forum members tell me to do.  :)

(Of course I always follow and do what Google tells me to do too.   :o  ;D )

I guess we are to do this too?  https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2012/02/how-remove-your-youtube-viewing-and-search-history-googles-new-privacy-policy

Note that disabling Web History in your Google account will not prevent Google from gathering and storing this information and using it for internal purposes. It also does not change the fact that any information gathered and stored by Google could be sought by law enforcement.

With Web History enabled, Google will keep these records indefinitely; with it disabled, they will be partially anonymized after 18 months, and certain kinds of uses, including sending you customized search results, will be prevented. If you want to do more to reduce the records Google keeps, the advice in EFF's Six Tips to Protect Your Search Privacy white paper remains relevant.

If you have several Google accounts, you will need to do this for each of them.

Google Privacy Checklist: What to Do Before Google's Privacy Policy Changes on March 1

If you use Gmail, Google Docs, or any other popular G-service, you're about to surrender a lot more personal information to the Googleplex

We've been talking about it for weeks, but the big day is almost here: On March 1, Google will implement its new privacy policy and terms of service, unifying 70 separate privacy policies and extending them across most of Google's offerings.
