Recent/frequently used programs/files in LXDE
« on: February 22, 2012, 12:15:07 AM »
I just installed LXDE to finally give it a good test. I just love the speed, and I'm planning to put it in an older computer, so I need a light DE. (It's in the name, isn't it?  :D )
But since it's a learning experience, I'm starting with LXDE Mini and building from it.

I have a couple of questions about it, which I will post one in each thread, as etiquette demands.

So, this is about recent and/or frequently used programs, as well as recent files in LXDE menu.
There are none.

I don't know if the full LXDE has this feature, but if it has it, I suppose it can be configured or installed in Mini.

So, is it possible for the menu to show the recent files/documents, and the recent or more frequently used programs?
And, if it can be done, how do I activate this feature?

Dear lord, Neal!

What are you doing awake at this hour? (Helping noobs like me, I guess.  :-[ )
And my question was answered in just 5 minutes. That I call customer service.  :D

Those are kde features.

No problem then. I'll keep playing with LXDE, see how far I can take it until I break it.

Thanks!
