Opinion wanted > Ksnapshot or shutter

I would like to know which would be the best, ksnapshot or shutter.
Or are they both same in daily use.

I searched a little, but info found was dated, so...
I am actually not using them , so I have no experience at all with either

I am setting up pclos for a newbie, and don't want to make the wrong choice.
(( and don't have enough time to play with them either, at least not right now ))

Never used shutter, but Ksnapshot works nicely and I have no reason to look elsewhere.    --doug

To install shutter you also have to install many dependencies.  I installed it once when I couldn't work out an issue with ksnapshot.  Shutter didn't solve the problem so I removed it and its numerous depencies.

If you're using KDE, KSnapshot is a good choice. If you have special needs, look further, e.g. recordmydesktop.
