Is it possible that you entered your card details incorrectly?

I can say there have been many many PCLinuxOS donations through google checkout over the years without any issues. For some reason Google doesn't like something with joejac. I ran into trouble with paypal a few years ago that started with me simply logging into my account while on vacation in New York.

Thanks to everyone who donates. You keep the servers running.

I am very careful entering my credit card information. But now my credit card number has changed, Visa has changed my card for a new one with chip, not a Core i7 unfortunately  ;D
And because my account was suspended forever I can not change any data, I hope they do not suspend my gmail account, that has all my emails.

What I suspect is that Google do not like South America, it is where I live. Sorry friends.

Regards
joejac

check out this link it will give u a address u can mail it in to. I am going to send in mine for google will not let me into my account now.

Another day, another go and seem to have managed this time.

After going through the donation page and logging in to Google with my gmail address, entered details etc

Then got the "this card is not recognised" error page. Then I noticed that in the dialog on the left side of the page some of the card details were missing. Entered them again and it seems to have worked. I now have an email receipt from Google wallet.

However, does not give me much confidence in google, seems very flakey

As we try to offer to readers and posters on our Dutch PCLinuxOS forum (6 years already) a way to donate for those who do not have credit cards (yes, credit cards are not so common over here), usually that is by sending it to my bank account and I in turn use my own CreditCard and GoogleWallet/Checkout to donate to the US site.

Typically I get donations in Euros and I transfer in dollars so I wait until I have a few to batch up and minimize on currency losses. Has gone perfect for many years now. This time I only had one EUR20 donation which works out to ca. $26 so I made 2 separate GoogleWallet donations of $19.95, one with the email address of the Dutch forum member, the other one without email address. Another 3 donations and I can round things out - one of those will be mine of course!

Just want to make sure everyone understands I transfer every penny I get over here to the US donations page - no losses, no conversions. However, being so straight is taking a lot of juggling around. Any chance we can get a donation page in Euros as well so I can transfer the exact amounts forum members dump into my bank account? I feel I owe them full transparency and that would certainly help.
