Hi friends,

tired about me? sorry... :(

When you get the can't unmount error, does it say "device is busy," also? If so, wait a minute or 2 and try again.

No, any other message, only this:

After I accept everything work well. Weird.

chmod -Rf 777 /media/~

I don't see how this command could be of any help ....  Huh

Sorry for my ignorance...

Aleph,
I understand that this is getting frustrating for you. But be patient with those who are trying to help. They may be getting frustrated, too, yet are still trying to find an answer for you.

Did you read Just18's post? Do you have PCManFM's left side menu set to directory tree? Or Places? In Preferences, do you have "Mount mountable volumes..." ticked on or off? (Under Volume Management.)

Not knowing is an opportunity to learn, not ignorance.

I really appreciate your help, and sorry if I can seem impatient.

Aleph, sorry to butt in here.

Try to follow one reply, post your result, and Neal (Helper) will guide step by step till you have solved your problem.

Changing things without being asked can leave your helper with no clear idea of what is happening, plus can change important settings.

Patience and this problem will be solved very easily.

Relax, go do something else other than use Computer till you have problem solved.  ;)

(Sorry helpers, saw this and remembered I had to install something like '???mount' many months ago to mount usb stick. )

Hi Neal,

I ticked off "Mount mountable volumes..." Now not pop asking but get the same problem.

Maybe I forget, PCManFM closes when the error message appear.

Thanks Abraxas for your advice...   :)

Abraxas,
:) Thanks. Hmm...... was that pmount? ???

Aleph,
Change "Mount mountable volumes..." back to on. Check to see that you have pmount and libmount1 installed.

Hi Neal,

pmount and libmount1 are installed.

I did a reinstall of both, but the same problem, I got the pop asking for open (good), the pen is mounted (good) but when I unmount the same error message: "Is not possible unmount" , but is false, the pen is unmounted... (weird)

I could live with this problem if not solution, but is weird
