Dual boot with Win 7 64 bit--want Windows primary SOLVED!
« on: February 09, 2012, 07:32:59 PM »
I have a machine dedicated to PCLOS, but I also have a machine dedicated to Win 7. Since that machine has lots of space, I'd
like to add PCLOS as a "sandbox"  and I'd like the boot menu to default to Windows.  Please tell me how, and if there's anything else
I should know but am too dumb to ask.

Thanx--doug

Open Configure Your Computer (PCC) -- after putting in root password it opens-- go to the "Boot" Section-- bottom selection on left pane-- then click on it and in the right pane click on "Set up Boot"- hit the "Next" button at bottom- in this Pane click on your Windows Selection and move it to the top with the up arrow, then hit the "Modify" button-- that will pop open another window, in that window check the Default box- Then hit the Finish button and then close out of PCC. You are done.
