(SOLVED)LXDE install gone bad...
« on: February 08, 2012, 04:56:07 AM »
Use KDE on one machine and wanted to install a dedicated LXDE install on an older machine...

Downloaded LXDE ISO and can't update due to dependency issues and broken packages.  Went to Synaptic and fix broken packages and they can't be fixed.

Any way to save this install? Thanks.

Which ISO? Did you check the md5sum on the download? On the CD after burning? Did you burn at the slowest possible speed? What are your hardware specs? Which repository mirror are you using?

Thanks for the reply.

Nothing that a new iso download and install could not cure.

Good to go now...
