Ear buds recommendations? [Found]
« on: February 01, 2012, 01:24:55 PM »
Anyone have some recommendations for ear buds?  Decent quality and not too expensive?   Doesn't need to be top end, my ears just aren't that good.

Apparently my ear canals are smaller than average, and I have a terrible time trying to keep the typical ear buds in.  I need some with a smaller diameter.

Thanks in advance..

A possible consideration - they have athletes in mind and are meant to never fall out.

".............................The products, which start at $49.99, have a twisting mechanism that keeps them in place. The company makes six different sizes according ot CEO Seth Burgettt (scroll down to listen to podcast interview) and if you buy a size doesn't fit, you can take a picture of the inside of your ear and the company will send you one that does fit for no extra cost, said Burgett...................."

I would recommend Creative EP-630's. They have great sound quality, but are very reasonably priced. I'm on my 3rd set in 6 years, so they are quite well made. Just make sure to get them from a reputable dealer because there are a lot of fakes out there, especially on ebay.

Yikes!  I think that's a bit above what I was looking for.  I'm sure they're great products, though.

Looks like they are no longer manufactured.  Out of stock (and may not be re-stocked) at the Creative site, and just about everywhere else I look that I would trust not to be selling fakes.

I did see prices from $10 to $25, but mostly out of stock.

Thanks for the suggestion, though.

OK - I went ahead and ordered from Amazon, since they are the actual vendor.  Thanks, again.

Hope they fit better than the stuff I've been finding at Walmart, Best Buy and Radio Shack.

Each set that I have bought come with 3 sets of buds in different sizes. Hopefully one of them will fit well.
Several friends have bought these on my recommendation, and they have all been happy with them. Let me know what you think when they arrive.
