[SOLVED] Flash player plug-in crashing in browsers
« on: January 18, 2012, 04:39:03 PM »
Has anyone had a crashing problem with their flash player plug in?  I can't watch anything in youtube (or anything requiring flash) any more - in FF it says flash player plugin crashed, in Opera - simply nothing happens, just a blank box and Chromium completely crashes before my home screen even opens. I tried reinstalling flash player and that didn't fix it.  And when I logout and log back in to the system I get KCMinit won't start and KDE Daemon closed unexpectedly.  Something is not right here.

Thanks. I did follow the thread and removed prelink and then restarted my computer (instead of logging out and in as I had before).
Dohhh!  I think it was restating the computer that fixed everything though so I reinstalled prelink and restarted the computer.  All seems OK now.
