Gentlepeople: This might need moving, but it is LXDE.
My long-suffering EeePC 701 4G netbook has been brought to a point approaching perfection for my needs with Forum help and has 2011.Latest fully updated on a 8Gb Class 6 SD as a full install. The one thing it won't do is Hibernate.
Previous versions of LXDE had an EeePC application in the repo's containing goodies for Eeep's to modify their behaviour. That said, an install of 2009 still residing on the SSD has the application but won't hibernate either.
Looking in the repo's this morning I found lxlauncher, and applied it to the 2011 SD install. But I can't find a pointer to it from PCC> or notice any change in the machine.
Can somebody please explain what lxlauncher does and how. The Hibernate problem can wait.
Thanks,
John.
