Crazy Printer ??
« on: January 09, 2012, 03:20:49 PM »
Hello Everyone: Can some one tell me where the printer file is located so I can copy my old file over to my new install. This HP printer is driving me crazy. It will not keep the "enabled" status for more than one printing and it constantly pop up that the driver is not installed. It works in a guest account that I created and it works on the old computer that I kept for a back up, but it is acting crazy on this new computer and new install. It will only print a partial page the first time and then it quits and I have to go to PCC and click the printer properties and click on "enable" to get it to print again. I thought I might copy a known good file if I knew where it was hiding. Thanks for any help.
If Firefighters died and went to hell, they would just put it out!

Try to change "Error policy" in printer options to "retry-current-job".
