no shutdown while compositing activated
« on: January 09, 2012, 09:20:20 AM »
Hi,

it is as the subject says. I can't shutdown, via log out -> shutdown, my Pclos (Xfce) while compositing is activ. Reboot works fine. What happens: The System goes into a black Screen with a frozen cursor at the top of the screen. All i can do then is to shutdown forcefully via powerswitch. Has someone an idea what could fix that Problem because i would like to stay with my compositing activ.

Outdated, see new post:
Now shutdown works. The only difference is that the xfce-panel isn't transparent anymore.

Whats a full update ? I did an update via Synaptic and checked now apt-get dist-upgrade. No packages to install.

And the reboot do not work now too. Bad for me but maybe its easier to guess whats wrong.
