Seasons Greetings
« on: December 27, 2011, 03:04:16 PM »
Hi Gang. Firstly, i hope for most you have had a Happy Christmas Season. Regettably i know for many who have lost loved ones and misfortune struck throughout the year, it would not have been so  happy. My condolences to all in this situation. And a big thank you to all on the forum who have helped me out throughout the year. I still hope to win Lotto here in Oz so  i can come to the USA and meet up with many friendsi have made. A big thanks to Tex and Gang, all forum members for your input and help in solving little problems and who work so hard in the development. A big thanks also to the person / people behind the Full Monty Edition which i now have installed on my main tower. A beautiful, very well laid out and practical PCLos fork. I can't get over the speed of the boot time !! Very fast indeed!! Thought i would give it a try / install and was very pleased at the layout and speed. It came about as i finally after 3 yers crashed my pclos kde desktop and this time had no Acronis Backup Image !!, which had saved me a couple of times beore. Thanks again and Happy New Year to all. Cheers,
Wayne.  :)

Hi Jeddaboy. Happy Holidays to you. Over the years many things have kept me here. People come and go as with life in general but, the core of pclinux has remained. The distribution is solid and the people are helpful, friendly and fun to be around. I've used most distributions and for me this is the place to be.  :)
The Sandbox is a great place to get out of the rain and into the sand.

Thanks  for the reply, DJ, Just 18(will it change to "just 29!!this year!!!!?) and Alex. Good to hear from you all. Yes all, lets hope its a better year, less droughts, floods, hurricanes etc. And i hope that those of us who suffer pain related issues get a better year too. Ahh to be able to wind back   the clock and to have had to learn safe lifting and work practices like today!! I would not be paying the price in my back and legs now! I am getting periods of no pain at all, when its a pleasure to sit at my computer without bloody pain in my legs, feet and butt!! But i always remember thousands are worse off than my self.
Thanks DJ. So Pinoc is the man behind Full Monty. I LOVE IT!!
Cheers all. Hoping for more ability to get on the forum in the coming year.
