add back the fromusb boot option ...... that should get rid of the hang when rebooting. It causes a different 'halt' file to be used for live sessions.

Adding
fromusb to the boot parameters enabled me to reboot without the error and hang, and automount my /home partition. Actually it was my mistake on my part. I had
fromhdd added instead of
fromusb. I was gonna take a look at it again though.
