Another thing. I have added exception for the certificate but still once in a while firefox warns me about
Quote
This Connection is Untrusted

You have asked Nightly to connect
securely to pclosmail.com, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure.
Normally, when you try to connect securely,
sites will present trusted identification to prove that you are
going to the right place. However, this site's identity can't be verified.

          What Should I Do?

            If you usually connect to
this site without problems, this error could mean that someone is
trying to impersonate the site, and you shouldn't continue.

          Technical Details

Do You make changes to the cert from server side?

Regards.

Andy

No, there has been no changes to the certificate. I have also noticed that every once in a while Firefox seems to forget about it. Maybe that is a "feature" of Firefox....Nagging

Gotcha. Thanks :).

Dudes... I seem to have a problem with the encoding of some characters:

Instead of > I get %3E
Instead of ' I get %27s

In some e-mails... Where would I change the encoding settings to get rid of this issue?

Regards.

Andy

Which email client are you using ?

Did you checked about the browser encoding ?
FF -> Top Menu -> View -> Character Encoding
Opera -> Top menu -> View -> Encoding

UPDATE:

Tomorrow, Monday Feb 6th I will be installing our permanent SSL certificate on pclosmail.com web site

Certificate Contents
Common Name:  pclosmail.com
Organization:  pclosmail.com
Organization Unit: Domain Control Validated

Request Details
Type:      Standard SSL
Number of Years:  5
Private Key Length:  2048 bits
Issuing Organization:     Go Daddy

Request Date: 02/06/2012 17:41:09 GMT
Status: Pending

There will be a small amount of down time while the SSL Certificate is installed and the system is rebooted.  When you log into the system it may pop up a notice that the SSL certificate has been changed.

I just wanted to forewarn everyone what was going on.

Thanks YouCanToo. I appreciate what You are doing for us... but Go daddy? Ouch... they can be a major PITA... Expensive, trying to extend the contract (actually charge Your credit card without asking for permission) when the end of the contract is up... and little things like that...

Regards.

What is your thought?

Should I disable http:// access to pclosmail.com and leave only (https://) secure access to the website? If not why?

If there's a good reason for it. Maybe like paying for extra bandwidth? The only hindrance I can think of is if someone is at a roaming location where they can't access https. But, I don't really know if that scenario exists.
