TRENDnet Adaptor (FYI)
« on: December 03, 2011, 12:32:18 PM »
I managed to acquire a TRENDnet USB to 10/100 Mbps adapter.
I didn't need it but it was free - so what the heck.

So I fire up the laptop with the thing plugged in to a usb port and connect it to
my router and the thing just takes off and starts working right out of the box,
didn't have to configure anything.

For anyone that isn't familiar with this device,if the plug in to your NIC card gets damaged
you can use this device to get back on the internet.

If you have a model number for it, I can put it in the Hardware Database for you, if that would help. Also which version of PCLOS are you using it with?
