Hello, and thank you for your time and mental processing power.
I am running on a Compaq Presario CQ62 laptop, and have for the past six months enjoyed using KDE. However, I decided to give other versions of PCLinuxOS a shot, but am for personal reasons going back to KDE. Now, all is fine and dandy with partitioning, and I'm all ready to Install PCLinuxOS, but when it gets time to format the drives, I receive this:
"mounting parition UUID=49e846c5-f2la-470b-46a9c632c73c in directory failed."
And then I am provided with a yes/no choice, but no noticeable effect occurs for either response. After which, the Installer will go back to the partition selection, and if I try to go with existing partitions again, the partition that was to be formatted will not appear, but the error shall reoccur at every attempt.
The partitions I am talking about:
>ext4, mount point "/", 18GBs. This is the one that causes the error at install.
>Linux Swap, 9Gbs.
>ext4, mount point "/home", 205GBs.
I boot PCLinuxOS from a flash drive, using an ISO, and UNetBootin, and have consulted the PCLinuxOS wiki, the search archives of this forum, and Google, but nothing comes up. I hope this meets with the requirements for posting, thank you once again for reading!
